I'm just starting the search of the Fennimore roots. All I know (hopefully) so far is that my grandfather (Joseph Nicholas Fennimore) was born in Manchester, England in the year 1879. His father was John and his mother was Mary Valente. He married Ethel Agnes Robinson (born in Rochester, N.Y. in the year 1881). They were married at St. Michael's Church on Oct. 28, 1906. At the time of his marriage, my grandfather lived at 54 East 109th St., N.Y.C., and my grandmother lived at 154 East 122nd St., N.Y.C.. They later moved to 440 Manhattan Ave, N.Y.C., then 309 West 118th St., N.Y.C., (around 1911). Then they finally moved to 182-4 Briggs Ave., Bryn Mawr Pk., Yonkers, New York (1911). My grandfather might of had a sister who was a nun in Italy. My grandmother had two brothers; Clarence and Walter "Spike" Robinson (who was a silent screen actor). I believe she might of had two sisters; Marie and Grace. Her parents name were James and Emma Hulslander. I believe my great-grandfather, James Robinson (who graduated from Eastman College in 1861), sold pharmaceuticals in the New York City area.
