I am mainly beginning this search to find out more about my maternal grandparents. My maternal grandfather was a German in Russia. He was born in Voloynia, Russia on September 17, 1892. His name was Albert Stobert. He immigrated to the United States possibly in 1912, but didn't officially become a citizen until November 29, 1956. His father's name was Frederich Stobert and his mother's name was Emma Vedel.
My maternal grandmother's name was Esther Marie Kranich and she was born in Gladwin, Michigan. Her parent's names were Emelia Eichblott and Ferdinand Kranich.
I know there are relatives in Canada, but know nothing about them. Any information would be appreciated.
