My main interests are my great great grandfather, Charles Feven, and my great grandfather Charles Fevens. Charles Feven was a master mariner who sailed out of ports in Nova Scotia. On May 3, 1856 he married Ellen Jackson in Salem Chapel, Halifax. On January 31, 1857 their first son was born and on 22 of March, 1857 at St. Paul's Church in Halifax he was baptized "William Edward". Their second son, Charles Fevens, was born 14th of February 1859 and baptized "Charles" March 6, 1859 in St. Paul's. Ellen died on January 20, 1863 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She was in her 25th year of age.
