My husband's family is from Texas and New Mexico. Tracing his ancestors is proving to be pretty difficult. His family names include: Fewell, Lack, Carter, McCamant, and Gardner. I really need help with Henry C. Fewell, supposedly b. abt. 1889 in TX.
I also need help w/ the Lacks -- he's not for sure of his mother Marjorie's parents' names.
I have a little more accomplished on my side, due to the hard work of both my grandmothers years ago. My family is from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Louisiana.(It keeps moving eastward the farther back you go.) My family names include: Wilkins, Hudson, Thomas, Goodson, Bunch, Leonard(Leonhardt), Shultz, McCatheran, Maqourik(sp??)--these are on my mother's side. My father's side includes: Clark, Formby, Harrington, Andrews, Carlock, Shoemaker, and Cooper.
