My family emmigrated from the Uk to Australia in 1960. I have living relatives in the UK and Switzerland. I have visted them and we have collectively begun to put the family tree together.
On my last trip I visited a location in Wendover, Buckinghamshire where a great great grandfather was the publican of the "Rising Sun" in Tring Road.
Family history is very rewarding and I have managed to convince friends to investigate their family histories resulting in some remarkable finds especially when you step back into the history and lifestyles of the times they lived in.
