My family's tree begins in Pickens County, South Carolina. Were my grant grant grandfather Sam Fields and Violet(Byrd) Fields married. Their children born in Easley, South Carolina name's were Lawrence, Will, Joe, Johnnie, Flora, Susie, Mary, and Ida. In 1892 they moved to Newport, Arkansas. Lawrence being my grant grandfather married Clora(White) in 1901. Their children name's are Thomas, Hubert, Beulah, Flora, Aughty, and Lillie. My grandfather Thomas married Mary(Lasley) in 1936. During this marriage, Mary, Lawrence, William, Melkery, Flora, Manda, Joseph, Roy, Aughty, Verlina, and my mother Violet were born.
The L.W.Fields Family Reunion 2000 which include a host of other Aunt, Uncle, and cousins will be held in Saint Louis, Missouri at the Holiday Inn located at 4545 N. Lindbergh Blvd.
