I have researched the Fiechtner family back to 1595 in Wurttemberg ,Germany.Iam still trying to put together branch sections .Iam at present compiling a book with 17 generations but i would like to check early hidtory as i have been informed that my great grandfather actually came from Austria.Because of this i would like to find out history of the Fiechtner family around the 1600.Iam also trying to trace my ancestory on the "MANN" side of the family as the came from Cambridgeshire, England .John Mann was born in 1809 at Cambridgeshire England.
John Mann married Ann South in 1833b also in Cambridgeshire ,England.John&Ann migrated to AustraliaAROUND 1852/53.Ibelieve that their ancestory might have come from Ireland, or Scotland. "ERIC N. FIECHTNER"
