My Cahill ancestors, Denis Cahill and Mary Neill,[and all variants], lived at Rosbane about a mile out of Tinahely, Co. Wicklow. They are buried at the St. Kevins Churchyard Cemetery at Killaveney. They were born in the late 1700's.
On the Griffiths Valuation of Ireland there were only 9 Cahill families living in Wicklow at that time, 1852. I am trying to connect as many of them as I can to Denis Cahill. So I would love to hear from any Wicklow Cahill researchers or any Neill's from the Tinahely region. It has been very hard researching the Cahill families with the limited resources that are available and the uncommonness of the name in Wicklow.
