I am researching the FIQUETTE families who lived in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina; many family members still reside in these states today. Other spellings of our name include FIQUETT, FICQUETTE, and FICQUETT.
Alexander Fiquett married Elizabeth (Betsy) Anne Wagner, and they had 7 children, including 2 sons, Anthony S. Fiquett and Robert E. Ficquett.
Anthony married Caroline (Winnie) Nolen in Newton County, Georgia in 1833. Both were born in 1813, she in Fairfield County, South Carolina, and he in Georgia. They had 7 children: William, Wilson, George, Charles McDaniel, Jonathan Marshall, Stephen, and Martha.
Robert married Elizabeth Anne Moore in Madison Co., Georgia in 1836; he was born in 1814 in Oglethorp Co., Georgia and she was born in 1813 in Madison Co., Georgia. They had 9 children: Winfred Anne, Robert Jr, Sarah Elizabeth, Rebecca Jane, James Gilmore, John Floyd, Verlyn Florence, Lovet Alexander Asbury, and Robert Oscar.
