1. GEORGE (FREDERICK) ABBOTT was born May 31, 1864 in PA, and died September 10, 1919. He married SADIE A MCCAFFREY February 20, 1887 in Allegheny Co., Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of CATHERINE MCCAFFREY. She was born July 14, 1866 in PA, and died May 22, 1945.

Marriage certificate lists Sadie from Pittsburgh 25th Ward; George 26th Ward. Mother, Catherine McCaffrey, signed marriage certificate in 1887 giving permission for her daughter to marry.. this usually signified paternal figured was deceased.
daughter Stella Margaret Abbott Hudson death notice gave great-grandfather's name as Fred Abbott spelled with one "b"
