I am trying to piece together my father in-law Raymond Francis Fitzgibbon's family tree. Here is what I have so far:
Ray's father Thomas William Fitzgibbon, b15/08/1895, d1951, county born unknown, Thomas served in the British during WW1.
Thomas amd sisters Rose and Elizabeth Fitzgibbon are triplets, Nell Fitzgibbon was the other sister, I think there were a few more children.
Thomas married Mary Ellen Fitzgibbon nee Castle, b21-24/04/1897, d1948, had 6 children, youngest were (twins) Raymond Francis Fitzgibbon and Phyllis Fitzgibbon, b23/06/1929, whereabouts of Phyllis is unknown, George Fitzgibbon and Margaret Rose Fitzgibbon are older their whereabouts is unknown. The other 2 older children are unknown. Ray also had a half sister named Mary Currie.
She was the daughter of Mary Ellen. Mary Currie became a novice nun during the depression just before WW11, she was approximately 19 years old. The convent was located in London.
Thomas sister Elizabeth Fitzgibbon married name Knight?? may have moved to Sydney Australia appox 1929 - 1930.
Nell Fitzgibbon has 9 children. Married name unknown.
Ray and his parents resided at Paddingtion London during the depression, before WW11. He remembers leaving with his grandmother Mary Ellen Fitzgibbon during the war. Thomas and Mary moved to Nrth Kensington,London just before the war.
I would greatly appreciate any help to fill in the missing gaps.
