Johann Heinrich Lantz and Anna Maria Milch were married 6 Feb 1742 in Nieber-Erlenbach, near Frankfort, Germany. They arrived in Halifax on June 25, 1751 aboard the ship "Murdock". They arrived with their siblings, Rebecca Magdalena, Johann Henrich and Johannes Frederick Lantz. From Halifax they moved to Lunenburg County about 1753.

I am especially looking for all descendants with the surname Dickie. They could be possibly from Scotland or Ireland. Any information on the surnames listed would be greatly appreciated.

In the summer of 2003, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia celebrated a 250th reunion of the founding families that established the town. The LANTZ family was among the founders. The reunion was from July 10th through the 14th. Fred Lantz, my brother along with my husband, Tom and myself attended the celebration. Unfortunately, my brother Fred Lantz passed away on 25 January 2005. I have most of his genealogy material and will continue researching the Lantz descendants.
