"A Geneology of the Nesbit, Ross, Porter, Taggarts Families of Pennsylvania", written by Blanche T. Hartman was a privately printed geneolgy dedicated to the memory of those undaunted pioneers who braved the wilds and dangers of the new country rather than submit to the religious and civil bondage of the old. This book, published in 1929, was printed by the Lakeside Press of Chicago. Guarantors of this endeavor were Charles D. Armstrong, George Smedley Bole, D. James Brown, John L. Carson, Nannie Armstrong Dibert, Andrew Bole Hare, Andrew Sweeney Hare, Galen C. Hartman, David P. Hopkins, Samuel H. McKee, Mary Armstrong Pool, John Lupher Porter, William H. Robinson, Penn Sylian Spangler and Campbell C. Taggart. This 229 page book is a concise geneology of these Pennsyvania familes dating back to the early 1600's in Scotland. I welcome any inquiries and information regarding the book. Claire Fleming King (claire@mediaone.net)
