Am currently studying David C & Martha (Patsey) Russell Fleming, last known residing in Carroll Co., Tenn, in the 1840 Census. The parents of David C., are unknow at this time. Parents of wife Martha (Patsey) Russell are Robert Russell II & wife Jane Jefferson Rutherford.

Children of David C. Fleming & Martha Russell Fleming are:

Known: David M. Fleming, Robert Russell Fleming, John R. Fleming, Sarah Fleming, Mary Elizabeth Fleming Hildreth, Nancy Catherine Fleming Hildreth. There are more chldren, suspect names could be Alfred, James, Martha

Allied Lines I am tracing:

Cooper, James, Marshall, West, Russell, Rutherford,

I am now at a stand still on parentage of David C. Fleming. His father could be Peter Fleming, James Fleming David Fleming or Robert Fleming Records indicate that David C. was born in Virginia as well as Martha Russell. They were married however, in Oglethorpe Co. Ga. in 1803 - any info you have will be appreciated, I want to share allied lines as well as Fleming line.
