Lewis Family Tree

Updated June 22, 2006

About Our Family Research

We've followed my maternal grandfather's line back to 2 German brothers - one of whom stayed in America following WW2. But, this is the first attempt to link my maternal grandmother (maiden name: Lewis) with my father (Thomas M. Lewis). Since many of us experience immune system disorders: skin (uncle/bro), thyroid (self), muscle tissue (dad) and nerves (grandma) -- and I've met so many Black Lewis' in the Seattle area...I question whether there was a plantation at some point. Could the immune system disorders be a throw-back from diseases more common among Black descendants - or is it an accidental inbreeding? Please help me by sending me links/info if you know any Lewis' near you! THanks --
Jeni
