The Sterling F. Flohrs of Baltimore, Md.

Updated July 3, 2004

About Our Family Research

The Flohr family held reunions until about 4 years ago when the attendance dropped so low it was no longer feasible to have them. Sterling's family has been researched really well by his Aunt Judith who is now 101 yrs old and still going. She is very special and has long been a favorite of all in and out of the family.
My family, the Hartsons, is supposed to be related to Elihu Yale who sent a ship load of merchandise to America to finance the building of Yale University which was started in my home town of Branford, Conn.. So far this hasn't been verified & I am hoping to do so with this research. I am the only remaining member of my core family having lost my parents and two brothers. My brother,(Edward Yale), has a wife (Margaret Keating) and two sons, (Robert Edward & James Craig) surviving. Robert has two adopted daughters,(Jennifer and Kimberly) and James Craig has a son, (Robert). My brother, (Merritt Oliver) has seven children with whom all contact has been lost. They are Merritt Oliver, Patricia Gail, Brian, Cynthia Jean, Beverly & Barbara, twins, & Deborah. I, (Miranda (Betty) Elizabeth Hartson Flohr), have three children, Joan Elizabeth, Thomas Sterling, and Kathleen Agnes. Joan has two sons, John Sterling Boone and Jeffrey Earl Boone. Thomas hasn't married and Kathleen has two daughters, Traci Elizabeth and Krista Lorraine. This is a brief history to which I hope to add more with this search.
