the family started back in the early 1700's with par jonsson who was a Crown Forrest Ranger..in sweden.. Petrus Foenander a vicar in Sweeden.. had a son Samuel Pieter Foenander .. later went to Ceylon and started the Foenander Family there.. through out the generations.. till early 1940--1950's when the movement began for the family to venture the world....
i am now finding those of the past generation and of this... to be placed into the book... so for those out there that i may have missed please write to me....
the book has grown and other families have entered into the details
i would like to get in touch with all the burgher families of ceylon for updates
as i have started on them now
