I am researching my Father's Family, Elwood G. Asmussen. My great grandfather, Wilhelm Carl was born July 25, 1839 in Aabenraa, Denmark. He came to America on the ship "Teutonia," November of 1866 from Denmark. His father was Peter, a seaman and his Father was a tailor from Bornholm, Denmark. Wilhelm came to San Francisco shortly after his arrival in America. He married Anna Heitmann, daughter of Carl Heitmann and Hedvig Johannsen, September 22, 1869. They had three children, Caroline, Carl and Alfred. Alfred, my grandfather was a plumber and married Benicia Deborah Worden, daughter of Benjamin Worden and Frances Clark, May 11, 1897. Alfred and Benicia had seven children, Anna Frances, Alfred Benjamin, Felton Wilhelm, William Wallace, Elwood George, Norval Carl, and Elmer Philip. My Father, Elwood was born September 20, 1908. He married Frances Caroline Jacobsen from St. Louis, Mo. She was the daughter of Nels Jacobsen and Frances Nichols. Elwood and Frances were married February 5, 1940. They had two children Judith Ann and Linda Lee. Judith married Lawrence Fogel, October 11, 1958, we had six children, Jeffery, Carolynn, Lorie, Particia, Lisa and Stephen. Linda married Edward Mullins, July 17, 1965, they have three children, Eddie, Timothy and Sean.
