Obituary: Kathryn M. Eckert, 77, of 1198 Mount Grenta Road, Elizabethtown, formerly of Deodate, Dauphin County, died Sunday at home after a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of Irwin F. Eckert, who died in April 1994.
Born in Deodate, she was a daughter of the late Frank B. and Edith C. Bricker Kreider.
A beautician, Mrs. Eckert owned and operated the former Kathryn's Beauty Shop in Elizabethtown before retiring in 1984.
She was a member of Lawn Evangelical Congregational Church, Lawn.
Surviving are three sisters, Dorothy Weaver of Elizabethtown, Esther, wife of Samuel Gingrich of Palmyra, and Elsie, wife of Angel DeJesus of Manheim; and three brothers, Franklin Kreider of Fontana and Clair Kreider and Richard Kreider, both of Elizabethtown.
