Our branch of the Follette family was supposedly linked to the Lafollette line at some point in time. Have succeeded in tracing our branch only as far as my great grandfather, Ephraim Follette (who spelled the name Follett most of the time.) He was born in 1834 in Drydan, Lapeer County, Michigan and died in 1911 in Sheridan, Michigan. Know nothing about his life, profession, siblings, etc. The fact that Michigan was formerly a territory makes it more difficult to track old records. Am hoping to find some clues from my new Family TreeMaker CD's.
