The original Foley (John Michael) came to the US from Ireland. The story (that we have never been able to totally confirm) is that he had to be smuggled out of Ireland after he shot a tax collector. I look forward to finding out as much information as I can about my family. I have already found some awesome photos. I would really like to hear more stories, and try and track down an old Foley Beer glass bottle.
