FONDREN ROOT: FRUITS OF PRIDE
The Fondren family (A/A) has a long and fruitful line with many interesting and captivating family members. We are family with a rich history, we have a strong faith, we are loyal, we honest, we are scholars, we are singer, we are poets, we are entrepreneurs, we are leaders, we are doctors and nurses, we are teachers, we are men and women in the Armed Forces of our country, we are of African, Native, and yes even that of European ancestry, We are American!
Greeting my family members. My name is Jimmie Hue Fondren Jr and I am one of several of your family historians who are working diligently to piece our family tree together. For the purpose of our upcomming family reunion we are focusing on the descendants of Dave and Lucinda Fondren.
Dave (born in 1830) and Lucinda (born in 1830) are the limb of which this branch of the Fondren family extends. Soon of the children of Dave and Lucinda Fondren are listed as follows;
Monie, Willa, Gus, Bradford, General Lee, El, Frank, Wesley, Ida, Aerilla, Fannie, Marinda, Addie, Pinkney.
There are more so I have been told and I will continue to search and uncover their existent and link to our family. I hope each you take a little interest in know where you came from and pass on any information that would help put together our family history.
