I have found my family ancestors back to the 1740's. My 5th greatgrandfather was James McCormick Sr., James McCormick Jr., Lindsey McCormick, Lafayette McCormack, Thomas Lindsey McCormack, and my father Grant W. McCormack. I have not been able to track down James SR.'s parents. I know they came from either Ireland or Scotland.
There will be a family reunion of McCormack's September 9, 2001, at the Eastview Civic Center 7 miles South of Selmer, TN. This is on Hwy 45 South. At the redlight in Eastview, turn West on 57 Hwy. The Civic Center is on the right. Bring a covered dish and visit with your relatives. Lunch will be at 12:00 PM.
