This page was started in order to keep a coherent record of family members past and present for the benefit and edification of current and future generations.
My husband and I started this project in the winter of 2001. By using several Foote family directories, we were able to trace the family back to fourteenth centry England.

Another reason for starting this site was at my husband's urging. Kris is originally from Poland. With its long and turgid history of wars and conflict, much information pertaining to geneaology has been destroyed or is in Sweden, making it difficult for him to trace his family to the degree we are able to.
Many members of the family have made attempts to record some of this information and to learn how to read geneaological directories.
I hope this site is a way to make the information readily available to as many members of the family as possible.
