George Henry Johnson migrated from Liverpool, England in the late 1800's. First wife died leaving him with small children. He married my grandmother, Amelia Henryetta Pricing around 1920. Lived in California in 1922. Lived in Mississippi around 1925. Lived in Texas somewhere in the 1930's. Worked for the railroad.
Children by first wife included: Doris; Melvia, Claude, Kenneth, Scliler. Children with second wife: Lynn; George Henry Jr.; twins - Ross E. and Ruth Catherine. He is buried in Ca. It is believed that he escaped from a poor house in England and then migrated here. He was a decendant of Dr. Samuel Johnson, writer of the first comprehensive English dictionary.
