About Our Family Research


The earliest known founder of the Fousek family was a Martin Fausek born around 1753. The family begins with the marriage of Martin Fausek to Marie Anna Pisova in 1788 in Bohemia. His son, Joseph, born in 1803, also used the name Fausek. Joseph Fausek and his wife Marie Vondrakova had 6 Fousek children: Vaclav, 1829; Barbora, 1831; Karel, 1833; Anna, 1835; Mathias (Matej), 1838. Mathias married Marie Marikova in 1862.
