I do not know where Benjamin is buried but he was living in Longview Miss. when he died. His Wife Sara Bell is buried in Ashland Cem. in Ashland Miss. with the inscription" Sara B. Franklin wife of Capt. B.D Franklin died April 15,1898 age 68 years. Esom D. Franklin's Father was Philemon Franklin who married Sara Davenport. Philemon's father was William Franklin Jr. who was married to Mary. William Jr's father was William Sr. who was married to Sara Rebecca Boone. My DNA matches a decendant of William Jr so I am reasonably sure of that relationship. I have been told that William Sr's father was Edward, but I have no proof.
