This is just a Family Research project that started about two years ago....I started with nothing and now I have toooooo much.....It started with a man named Michael Ward from Tennessee....He was by rumor a half breed Cherokee Indian....When it came time for the Cherokee's to "relocate" thanks to the federal government which was called the Trail of Tears....Michael (which might not have been his name at the time) chose to leave for Arkansas where he married a woman named Matilda Pierce....So he settled down to farm and have a family....the rest as they say is history.....
