I have a letter written to me forty years ago from Bonner Frizzell of Palestine, TX. He had done much research on the Frizzell-Knight- Owen Families but he died before I could arrange to contact him. His work was donated to the Morman Library. I am a Gt-gt-gt-gt grandaughter of Nathan Frizzell. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, born August 7, 1759, in Baltimore County, Maryland. He served in the Revolution from South Carolina. In 1802 he moved from Anson County, North Carolina, to Tennessee and died December 17, 1843 in Marshall County, Kentucky. Jacob F Frizzell, was the tenth and youngest child of Nathan and Ruahama Frizzell, born January 19, 1808 in Tennessee; died ca. 1847; married ca. 1828, Amelia C. Morgan, Calloway County, Kentucky. Nathan Wesley Frizzell, fifth child of Jacob F. and Amelia (Morgan) Frizzell was born February 17, 1839, in Calloway County, Kentucky; died May 31, 1925, Goldth-waite, Texas;married (February 27, 1859), Sarah (Sallie) E. Wade--Children: 1. John Tolbert Frizzell, 2. George Holland Frizzell, 3. Samuel Irving Frizzell, remarried February 10, 1870, Louisa Ann Burnett--Children: 1. Amelia Ann Frizzell mo. Thomas Warfield Sebolt, 2. Joseph Hardin Frizzell. John Tolbert Frizzell was the father of my grandfather John Wesley Frizzell, mo. Jimmie Mae Frizzell and had ten children. My father Marvin Lolan Frizzell, born February 2, 1921, mo. Marjorie Lynn Woods Frizzell, born June 7, 1927 had 7 children.
