My dad's name was Robert Lee Fridell, born in Beeville, TX in 1919. He was an avid pilot and trained many future pilots in San Antonio during the war years. He was a certified "LINK Trainer" instructor in San Antonio during the service years and then a corporate pilot for Collins Construction of South Texas.
He moved to Victoria, TX in '56 and was well known in aviation circles in that area. He passed way in August '63 in Ruidoso, NM.
His dad was a John Purce Fridell, born in ~1885 in Texas. His mother was Myrtle Eugene Graham, born 6/11/15 in Bee County, TX (Beeville is county seat of Bee County).
