Robert Frizell and his cousin Claire Frizell McGuigan started researching Frizell family history 30 years ago. Genealogical information is growing exponentially since then- and the internet is now the primary and invaluable tool. They had records back to Nimrod Frizell, primarily from the family bible.We can now trace ancestry back to William Frizell, who came to America, probably from Scotland, about 1650. We can also see our distant cousins whose ancestors went south and west to the Carolinas, Tennesee, Kentucky, Alabama, and Texas.
