My great- grandfather was Fernando Maberson. From Henry, Ohio
My Grandfather (John Henry Maberson) didn't have his first child until he was in his 40's and that started everything off late in the generation department. He was almost 50, when my Mother was born.
Grandfather was born around 1879??? He past away went I was about 3. John talked about having to watch out for Indians as he walk to school. He got free land in Defiance, Ohio that was two 40 acre farms and built a log cabin. Fighting off Indians and bears, Grandfather cut and clear trees off of both farms.
My Mother is the lasted one of the Maberson. My Mother was born June 22, 1922 and passed away on March 8, 2009, at the age of 86.
The only family that I know, that are still living are the cousins. Most records are not around any more. So I'm having a hard time trying to find anything on this family. So, if you know anything please e-mail me at chocolatelover65@netzero.com
