About Our Family Research
The Friel's of Stranolar,Donegal,Ireland settled in New York City in 1926. James, John, and Margaret, siblings of John Friel and Mary Laverty lived in New York there entire adult lives. Family trips back to Ireland has reunited family connections in Stanolar. We have since determined that our family worked on the Donegal Railroad. Our family roots may be in another section of Donegal,or possibly the Antrim Area in Northern Ireland.
