For many years I have been researching my family. I have had many successes in retrieving documents. Recently I visited the villages in Italy of all my grandparents, great grandparents and in one case my great great grandparents. The villages that I have visited were Rochetta al Volturno and San Pietro Avellana both in Molise also Bugnara in Abruzzo and San Gregorio Magno in Campania. The only village that I have not visited was the home of my grandfather Giuseppe Anthony Gallicchio. Giuseppe was from Marsico Vetere, Potenza in Basilicata. Giuseppe married Ernestine (Christine) Pontarelli on 22 April 1895. They lived in South Phialdelphia for some time then moved to 5th and Rising Sun Avenue in North Philadelphia. Giuseppe was a barber. They had three children, Francesco, Rosa (my mother) and Gilda who died at age six. Any information that you might have would be appreciated. I am also researching Frunzi and DiGiacomo.
