This research represents many years of wondering and searching for information about our family history. Frequent moves and traveling about the United States separated my parents and their children from brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Curiosity about the extended family I didn't know very well has led to this research.

It has been fun and interesting. A real learning experience with many surprises! And since the information was neither convenient nor easy to acquire and since there is still so much to collect I wanted to share it with other Emberlin's and Hurst's of Indiana.

Here it is.. what has been found to date. If you have more information to add, please email me. I am especially interested in collectimg some family photos to share. I am learning something of their lives and now I long to see their faces. Let's do that now despite the distance between us!!!
