Grandfather, John H. Scheib married to Cora (Hossler)Scheib. He was born in Gratz, Dauphin County,PA. Lived there and also in Valley View and Mahanoy City,PA. He may have worked for PPL for a short time. He played in a band. There were nine children in his family. His father may have been Frank Scheib. In Valley View he worked at mining and they also raised chickens. They had four children: Ivan Scheib, Ruth (Lee) Scheib, Harry F. Scheib, and Robert Scheib. Ivan Scheib's wife was Beatrice. They lived in Lebanon, Valley View, and Cleonia. Ruth Scheib married Albert Lee and lived in Chester and Brookhaven, PA. Harry Scheib married Alice (Hedwig Helt) Also Alice Morgan before being adopted. They lived in Mahanoy City, Hometown, PA. They retired to St. Augustine, FL. Where they both died and are buried at Sky View Memorial Park Cemetary in Hometown,PA which is in Rush Township, Schuylkill Co. Harry Frederick Scheib worked for the Reading Railroad and later worked in the automobile business. Robert Scheib married Phylis. They lived in Valley View, PA
