Reuben Hail was born in Tennessee. He appears in the 1830 census of Smith CO Tennessee. His first wife was Lucy Weaver. Lucy did about 1834. Reuben moved to Missouri in the 1830's. In 1839, Reuben married Lucy's sister, Martha Weaver Taylor, who happened to be a widow. They settled down in Christian CO MO. In the 1840's, Reuben went to California and returned to Missouri in 1849. Martha passed away just before he returned. He then married Mary Ann Inman in 1852. Later that year, she gave birth to twins, but only one lived. In 1853, they moved to Merced County, Calitfornia. Mary Ann died shortly after they arrived. Reuben married Eliza Phillips in 1869. Reuben died in 1873 and is buried in Plainsburg Cemetery in Merced County, CA. Reuben has descendants in both Missouri and California. I am looking for his parents. Do you know who they are? One of his descendants may have a family Bible or some other document that tells who Reuben's parents are. If you know who they might be, please contact me. thanks brian
