Reuben Hail was born in Tennessee in 1802. He married Nancy Weaver. She died. Reuben shows up in the 1830 Smith CO., Tennessee census without a wife. In the 1830's, he moves to Greene/Christian CO., MO. Reuben then marries Nancy's sister, Martha Weaver Taylor, a widow, in Miller CO., MO. and they live in Christian CO., MO. Martha dies. In 1852, Reuben marries Mary Inmon in Christian CO., MO. They move to California where Mary dies. Reuben marries a Eliza Phillips. He dies in 1873 in California, where he is buried.
