Fyler Family Records AKA Feiler

Updated February 1, 2002

About Our Family Research

Fyler Family now known as the Feiler Family A name change due to my grandmother in Buffalo NY back in the early 1900s occured when my father was enrolled in school. Edward Fyler my grandfather was killed in a street railway accident in Buffalo NY aprox. 1899. (this was passed down by word of mouth by my grandmother. No solid record has been discovered as of this date Jan.2002.) The name change was discovered as my father enlisted in the army in WWI. His birth certificate differed from his signature. A Notery Public had known him most of his life and certified that he was indeed known as Fred Feiler. His birth certificate still reads Frredeerick M Fyler With the attached note from the Notary.

If you are reading this and have knowledge of Edward Fyler who married Catherine Meyer some time around 1890, had a son by this union in 1896 and died in 1899 or at least when his son Fred Fyler was three years old please leave us a message. email at rbfeiler@lasvegas.com
