Seeking information on Laszlo Gacs, wife's name Zsofia, children Julia, Emma and Istvan. Zsofia and children came to the U.S., March 13, 1913, from Budapest, Hungary. Laszlo arrived some December 9, 1909.
Istvan (Steven) married Margaret (Kovacs) Erdody April 6, 1940 in Delray, Mich. Steven changed his name to Gacht sometime around 1936. Steven deid April 25,1992 and Margaret died October 8, 2002.
Margaret's mother was Barbara Kukovicas on her birth certificate, but is Kukoriczas on her Baptism certificate. Barbara's sister Margaret has the spelling of Kukuricas. Not sure which if any are correct. Margaret was born September 29, 1900 in Abouj Megye, Gombopuszta, Magyarorsag, Czechoslovakia. Margaret and Barbara's mothers maiden name Was Mary Toth.
Not much is known about Michael Kovacs the Father of Margaret Kovacs Erdody and Michael F. Kovacs Erdody. Margaret and Michael were born in Cleveland Ohio. Margaret on October 26, 1915 and Michael March 23, 1914.
