John's brother Daniel joined them and later married Michael Hammill's youngest daughter Fannie in NY.

John & Elizabeth (Hammill) Keenan's eldest daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Gaffney in 1836 in New York. Thomas was born in England in 1816 and emigrated to New York State before 1836.
