We are descendants of Michael Joseph Desmond and Catherine O'Callaghan who were married in 1858 at the Catholic Cathedral of Saint Mary & Anne in Cork City, Ireland. They emigrated to the USA in 1864 and initially settled at Green Bay, Wisconsin.They moved to Ponca City, Nebraska about 1870 and remained there until the early 1880's when they moved to somewhere near Sioux City, Iowa. Michael and Catherine divorced about 1886.From a total of 12 children, 5 survived. Their names were John Joseph Desmond, Michael Henry Desmond, William Richard Desmond, Timothy E. Desmond and Mary Ann Desmond. We are looking for relatives of these Irish-American immigrants.
