About Our Family Research

We are just starting out with this research, but we hope that these pictures might help someone--and that someone might help us with the photos. Most of the pictures are from the Steubenville and Cleveland, Ohio areas.

Alicia Hyde's Recipe for Yorkshire Pudding:
Make a batter with one pint of milk, three eggs (well beaten) 1 teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of baking powder sifted through 2 cups of flour. Mix all together very smoothly. Take two biscuit tins and put drippings or fat of any kind in tins. Heat them hot. Pour half the pudding into each tin. Bake in oven from 15-20 minutes. Have oven hot when you put in the tine. Serve hot. Serve meat gravy of any kind over pudding when done.
