The descendents of the Galbreath family in Marion County, Al have
a decoration day at the Galbreath Cemetery in Marion County, the last Sunday of April each spring.
The descendents of William King and Nancy Rolston Galbreath
hold an annual reunion on the 3rd Saturday of each year at the VFW Hall in Thorndale, TX. Russel Hawkins and Sallie McGowen were
married Oct 23, 1879 in Milam County. They had 4 children:

and Sallie are buried in Old Salem Cemetery near Rockdale. Their
sisters, Harriet Letha married M.T.Alford and lived at Tanglewood on the Lee County line and Rosannah Malissa
