This is a first step in geneology, this Gallopyn family tree contains information recollected from my and my wife's memory.
Gallopyn is a rare name, see white pages. There are some occurances of the name in Belgium and US where we live. The spelling of the name Gallopyn with a y is a most likely a change from the spelling Gallopin, or Galopin. More occurances are found with those names in France, US, Switzerland and Belgium.
Due to an administrative error, a cousin's name has a different spelling: Gallopin.
There is also current information on the Wynendaele, Jansens, Van Vreckem and Van Der meeren families in Belgium.
Next step will be to firm up date of birth and death and places, of different peopele, picking parents and families memories on grand and great-grand parents.
Next I would like some realy old occurances of the name and try to link the different spellings of the name and to map migrations to other countries.
