Timothy Married Ann Linch (Lynch as it appears on her death cert.) around 1860 in New York. Ann was born 5-10-1836 in Ireland, died 10-6-1905. They had children Daniel, Mortimer (my grandfather), Mary A, Katherine, Ellen, John, & Nellie. We have been finding relatives for the past 15 years and are still finding them. Some of the Gallivans were in the Upper Peninsula ,( Iron Mountain) of Michigan USA.
The name Gallivan, was also found to be spelled Gallager, Galvin, Galligan etc.( they are or can be related) . Timothy came to the U.S. by ship from Ireland to New York in 1847 (some think 1849, but I believe that to be untrue) rumor is that he might have been a stow away. Timothy met Ann after arriving to the US. They were married in 1860 possibly in New York. There first children were born in the Upper Michigan Iron Mountain area.. Birth Certificates may not exist, as they were born at home...
