I have been researching the Crowder and Loftis families through census and marriage records.
The Crowders are a large and far flung clan. They always have been. I was able to go back to the mid-1800's and ran into a maze of William Crowders. (Was it a law that a son had to be named William???) Our William was married to Sarah (Sallie) Blankenship, so I hope to eventually find something through her. They were in Rutherford County, NC. I would appreciate any help in this area.

This page is "under construction" as I pull together my research. I will post more to the tree as I find it and get time to do.

The Crowders are a far flung clan and I have lost track of some of my cousins. If you have Edward and Callie Crowder of Spruce Pine, NC., in your family tree you are a cousin. Please email me! Someday we would like to get everyone together at the same time in the same place. Wouldn't that be something?
