He married (1) Mary Ann Lambirth on July 22, 1839. He married (2) Mariah (Yardley) Johnson on May 06, 1845¹⁷⁰, daughter of Yardley. He married (3) Mary Ann Vansant on March 30, 1851 in Ozark Co., Missouri¹⁷⁰, daughter of Nicholas L Vansant and Margaret Vandegrift.
