The Philo Ford family begins with Philo's Father samuel ford born about 1776 in the new england area. The family moved to New york where Philo was Born, as were his siblings. the family then Moved on To Erie county Pa, and from there they Headed west With stops in Wisconsin, Kansas and finally Nebraska.
The taylor Family starts with John A. Taylor. He was Born in 1798 or 1799 in The new england Area. Then He moved on to the eastern Townships of Quebec.He is listed as are his children on the 1861 census of Magog, Quebec, Near Stanstead. His Children Left The eastern Townships of Quebec in the 1860's and Headed toward the newly settled Prairies of The Untied states. We Have tracked them Through Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, And Nebraska, With a few trips Along the Oregon Trail To the Pacific North West.
