My father William Dow Geddes emigrated to Port Arthur,now Thunder Bay from Aberdeen Scotland around 1912 together with an older brother,Alexander.Subsequently they arranged the emmigration of their parents,John and Elizabeth and 2 married sisters,Mary Duguid and Minnie Main, an unmarried sister,two unmarried brothers James and John.Two married sisters remained in Scotland.James continued on to Australia and was killed in 1918 in The Great War.I am married to Anne(Murphy) son Andrew(Jennie)Oakville Ontario daughter Elizabeth Thiessen(Wayne),Richmond BC and have 2 brothers,Donald(1928-1996)married Jo Murray, Sault Ste.Marie, and Lorne(1934-)married Joanne Hayduk.My mother was Ethel Jane Ferguson b in Port Arthur.
